  1. Some tips on performance:
  2.  
  3. - Stop all other applications before starting spacebar
  4. - Make sure that virtual memory is off (check your "memory" control panel for 
  5.    this).  If it is on, then turn it off and restart.  Make sure the modern memory 
  6.    manager is on.
  7. - If you have the memory available, then it is recommended that you increase 
  8.    your disk cache size to 2048k
  9. - The game currently requires 12.1 mg to run, because of this, you will need 
  10.    a 20mg RAM machine minimum to start up and run or a 16mg machine with most 
  11.    system extensions (inits) disabled.
  12. - If you don't have at least a 4x CD ROM, then get one (this is a game requirement)
  13. - If you have RAM Doubler running, then turn it off.
  14. - The minimun supported CPU clock speed is 60Mhz.
  15. - The 601 processor is supported, but it will run slow
  16.  
  17. Features of the game (hot keys)
  18. - To quit the game, cmnd/q
  19. - To stop a movie, escape
  20. - To reboot, control/cmnd/restart
  21. - To bring up monitor options, start the game with the options key depressed
  22.  
  23. Limitations: 
  24. - If you are using two monitors, then the game will run in the upper left hand 
  25.    corner of monitor 1 (your main monitor).  Note that if this monitor is not suitable
  26.    for running "The Space Bar", then the game will not run.  If your secondary monitor
  27.    is suitable for "The Space Bar", then swap the monitors and restart the game.
